Your telegram of 28th January. War Relief. Following organizations recommended by War Office:-

Royal Patriotic Fund Corporation.

Officers Families Fund.

Soldiers and Sailors Families Association. Soldiers and Sailors Help Society.

War Office consider F.M.S. Hospital quite

worthy of support. Following articles of clothing particularly needed at present for fighting forces:-

Mufflers, mittens, headgear; for military hospitals:- bedjackets, bodsocks, dressing gowns, helpless case bedjackets, pyjamas, pneumonia jackets, nightingales carpet slippers and operations stockings, many tailed bandages, and swabs also acceptable; for the Allies almost any article.

War Office states pipes, tobacco, mouth-organs, games and similar articles are much appreciated. I do not consider funds should be diverted to purchase Exchequer Bonds.

BONAR LAW.
